Bruce Stuart Mr. Stuart is President of Alberta Tubular. Mr.Stuart identified an emerging need in the market for an independent supplier of tubular goods to the oil and gas industry in Western Canada. A native Calgarian, he graduated Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire in 1974 and received an Executive MBA from Queens University in 1986. Mr. Stuart launched his career in tubulars in 1975 with Prudential Steel. In 1976 he began to work with IPSCO as a sales clerk, resigning in 1989 as Vice-President Sales to pursue entreprenurial endeavors. Mr. Stuart is the former Vice-President of the Springbank Hockey Association and is Past President of the Sabre Cats Lacrosse program. Currently he is on the board of directors with the Edge School and Kyle Stuart Memorial Foundation. Bill Thomas - Vice President Mr. Thomas joined the company in 1994 and has steadily increased his sales and responsibilites with the company. Mr. Thomas attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids Michigan on a hockey scholarship. He graduated in 1990 with a Commerce Degree. He played one year in the East Coast Hockey Professional League in Louisville Kentucky. Mr. Thomas began his career in sales with Dare Foods in Canada in 1992. He has been with Alberta Tubular since leaving Dare Foods. Mr. Thomas is currently a board member of the Bow Valley Hockey Society.
Steve Sutton - Vice President Mr. Sutton joined the Alberta Tubular sales team in 1998. Over the years he has built & maintained a loyal clientel. A native Calgarian, Mr. Sutton played for the Cougars while he attended Mount Royal College. In 1995, he graduated from the Univeristy of Lethbridge witha Bachelor of Arts & Science degree. Sales experience includes 1995 and 1996 at Chemsearch Canada. Prior to starting at ATP Mr. Sutton was employed, manufacturing line pipe, threading and upsetting OCTG at Prudential Steel in Calgary. Mr. Sutton is active with the Glenlake Hockey Association. |
